Medicine Tree Equine

It seems all of us involved in Harness racing look forward to a new year. A crop if foals, the next group of yearlings heading to the fall sale, the two year olds being trained down headed to the race track.

At Medicine Tree we are looking forward to Captive Audience's second crop, as well as the first crop for Winds of Change.

"CAPTIVE AUDIENCE" by ART MAJOR out of CAPTIVA ISLAND

  • He paced at 2 in 1:50.2 at 4 in 1:48.3 and won $803,036.00
  • He won the CHAMPLAIN STAKE at 2 in 1:50.2 as a three year old.
  • He paced in 1:49 in an elimination of the NORTH AMERICAN CUP then paced in 1:48.3 in an elimination of the BREEDERS CUP.
  • As a four year old he won the WHATA BARON STAKE in 1:48.3 then paced in 1:47.3 in the FRANKLIN.
  • Audience's first crop had an exciting year in the Stakes. Cora Cora Cora winning the Super Final as well as Caviar N Crackers winning the Stardust and the Emerald. Then on the boys side, Lukes Proclamation setting the 3 year old track record at Lacombe and winning legs of the Rising Star and the Millbank in BC.
  • He is standing for $1,250 plus GST for the 2021 breeding season.

"WINDS OF CHANGE" by AMERICAN IDEAL out of ARTS TEMPTRESS

  • He paced at 2 in 1:51.4 at 4 in 1:48.2 and won $628,248.00
  • At 2 he won the CHAMPLAIN STAKE IN 1:54.4 and won the GEERS as well as being second in an elimination of the METRO STAKE.
  • At 3 he won an elimination of the BREEDERS CROWN and was second in the TATTERSALLS final and the SIMCOE.
  • He is standing for $1,500 plus GST for the 2023 breeding season.
